I am a first year Machine Learning PhD student at Georgia Tech.
My professional interests include optimization, machine learning, and transportation (especially subway systems ― my favorites are Hong Kong's MTR and my hometown D.C. Metro) and I currently research in Georgia Tech's AI for Optimization (AI4OPT) lab. Feel free to reach out at rjr@gatech.edu.
I am an experienced leader and organizer ― I have organized international events featuring high-profile figures (including a sitting head of state) from the age of 16 ― and organize hackathons, competitions, and other programs in my spare time. Some organizations I've founded are showcased on my Initiatives page.
In my free time, I enjoy budget travel, reading, camping, chess, and épée fencing. Allez!
